Job Description

Position Title: Assistant Manager
Reports to: Executive Director and Board of Directors

Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday

Position Summary:
The Assistant Manager is responsible to lead and manage efficiently and effectively all aspects of the operation of the employees and manufacturing process: facilities management, business development, customer relations, production, knowledge of programs and services for people with developmental disabilities, and respects the rights and dignity of people with developmental disabilities and a willingness to advocate on their behalf.

The ideal candidate will be a high energy individual with a small business background who possesses managerial experience, who can maintain and lead a team of high performing and dedicated individuals to produce quality and on-time work.

Computer Skills:
Quickbooks, Excel, Word, and internet knowledge

Three (3) years of responsible and related management and leadership experience in a related business, nonprofit or governmental agency organization.

Skills Required:
Demonstrate an ability to lead and manage a complex organization in a demanding, changing, and dynamic environment. Ability to work with multiple constituency groups, parents, customers, funders, and government regulators. Ability to serve as a representative, spokesperson and advocate to community, donors, and client family groups and individuals.

Valid driver’s license and CDL license.

Pass random drug and alcohol screenings

Pass criminal/abuse background check.

Beginning Salary: $12.00 an hour
